Step 1: Log in to your JobZippy account
Step 2: Go to the account deletion page:
Go to Account Deletion Portal →Step 3: Follow the verification process (OTP will be sent to your email)
Step 4: Confirm deletion request

Include: Your registered email address
What Gets Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Personal Information: Name, email, phone number, address
- Profile Data: CV/resume, work history, skills, qualifications
- Application History: All job applications and communications
- Account Settings: Preferences, saved jobs, notifications
- Media Files: Profile pictures, uploaded documents
⏰ Grace Period (30 Days)
Immediate Effect: Your account is flagged for deletion and becomes inactive
30-Day Window: You can restore your account by contacting support
After 30 Days: All data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered
What Data We Retain
For legal and operational purposes, we may retain limited anonymized data:
- Transaction records (for accounting/tax purposes) - 7 years
- Fraud prevention data (anonymized) - as required by law
- Aggregated analytics (no personal identifiers)
This retained data cannot be linked back to you personally.
Before You Delete
Please consider these alternatives:
- Pause Account: Temporarily deactivate instead of deleting
- Update Privacy Settings: Control what data is visible
- Contact Support: We may be able to address your concerns
